Delivery Times

We dispatch 7 days a week Monday through Sunday with expection of Bank Holidays. We aim to dispatch all orders placed before 1pm  but this may not happen in busy times such as sale periods. We will ensure that all items leave in a quick, timely manner, with priority given to customers who have chosen express delivery. For delivery times, please see the table above. There may be circumstances beyond our control which could cause delays and in such circumstances we will try to contact you via email or telephone. 

If you require Saturday or Sunday delivery, please choose that option at the checkout. If you do not choose this option, then Saturday or Sunday delivery cannot be guaranteed but will arrive the next working day. 

Click & Collect 

This service is to be collected from the store in Brighton. After purchase and before attending the store please wait to be contacted via email to be inform the order is ready for collection.

IMPORTANT

-Only the person whose name is on the credit/debit card can collect the order.

-Please remember to bring photographic ID (passport/drivers license) and the credit/debit card used to pay for the order with you. Goods will not be released without these.

-The Click & Collect point is outside our offices at 5 Duke Street (directly opposite the main shop, next to The Victory Inn).

-When you arrive at the collection point at 5 Duke Street, please phone 01273958630 and have your ID and credit/debit card ready, someone will meet you with your order.

COLLECTION PERIOD

Your 14 day returns policy begins once you have been informed your order is ready for collection. 

 


SHIPPING EU & ROW

Due to the ongoing issues with USPS, European and Australian Post, the only shipping option for US, EU and Australian orders is via DHL Express Delivery.

From 1/1/21, all EU orders will have 20% tax deducted from the price shown. This will happen automatically once the shipping country has been chosen at the checkout. All import duties to EU countries will be the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend getting in touch with your local customs department to find the exact import rates/costs.

VAT for ROW Orders

From 1/1/2021 there may be additional taxes and duties that are not included in the shipping rates at checkout when shipping to countries within the EU.

Peggs & son does not take responsibility for any customs fees or charges for ROW orders. These customs charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.

VAT is charged at 0% on sales at checkout to EU or any country outside of the UK.

Shipping Services Outside The UK

Currently with  many restrictions and delays due to COVID-19 and backlog of deliveries over Christmas and expected new UK customs protocol after the EU.
We are currently no longer using Royal Mail delivery service to the USA, Australia and EU.

This is with the best intention to reduce transition time of parcel in the network and remove risk of the parcel getting caught up in global customs. Standard delivery option still available on UK purchases or countries not stated.

 


RETURNS

Refunds Policy

Purchases made online are governed by UK distance selling regulations and the returns policy is different to in store purchases. All goods are sent with a returns form. If you wish to return the goods, please complete and enclose the returns form indicating if you wish a refund or different item.

Items must not be worn, must have labels intact and be returned in the original packaging. Please be careful that any aftershave or body spray worn does not leave any marks or trace of scent.

The cost of returning the item and responsibility for the item is yours and therefore we recommend using a trackable, insured service. We do not refund any original shipping cost. If returning from overseas, please mark the package 'RETURNED GOODS' to avoid any customs charges. All taxes and customs charges are your responsibility. If we have made a mistake with your order please let us know imemdiately and we will do our best to resolve the issue at once.

Receieved Faulty/Damaged Goods

Please contact the store via email shop@peggsandson.com  on the day of receipt. Please provide your order number and images of the issue so we may assist in resolving any concerns. 

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item simply return as above with the returns form enclosed. Feel free to email us at the store on shop@peggsandson.com or call us on 01273 711847 in order for us to hold any item you require while we await your package. You must return the item within 14 days.

 

Refunds - UK orders:

You have 14 days after receipt to send back any item for a full refund. Returned items received after 14 days will not be accepted.

 

Refunds - Non UK Orders

You have 14 days after receipt to send back any item for a full refund. Returned items received after 14 days will not be accepted. Please mark the package 'RETURNED GOODS' to avoid any customs charges. All taxes and customs charges are your responsibility.

 

IN STORE SALES

In store returns

We will gladly exchange full-price non-faulty merchandise within 28 days of purchase, provided items are unworn, unmarked and a proof of purchase can be produced. After 28 days we will only exchange for the current retail value.

We regret we are unable to refund non-faulty merchandise. In the event you cannot find a suitable exchange, we will happily issue a credit note that will be valid for six months.

Please note that non-faulty SALE goods cannot be exchanged or refunded. 

 

CONDITIONS OF USE

Peggs & son Warranties

Peggs & son is unable to provide any warranties in relation to the goods provided over and above its statutory obligation to provide goods of satisfactory quality in accordance with the Sale of Goods Act 1979 as amended by the Sale and Supply of Goods Act 1994.

 

Peggs & son's Limited Liability

Except in relation to liability for death or personal injury Peggs & son's liability for negligence shall be limited to the total value of the transaction. Peggs & son shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses even if Peggs & son has previously been advised of the likelihood of such losses.

 

Availability of the Website and Goods

Peggs & son will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that the website does not have any problems and that the goods displayed are available. However it cannot guarantee the availability of the website or that any goods on the site are in stock or available.

Promotions are subject to brand and product exclusions which may change at any time without notice.
